This film is a 12A. That said I still expected some tension and hanging on the edge of your seat drama. Unfortunately this film does not deliver. This is the story of a woman who becomes obsessed with a married man. The women are both pretty, Beyonce Knowles and Ali Larter, but neither give convincing performances or much emotion in the film. Idris Elba was outstanding as the husband and gave a great performance on what otherwise is a weak film. Verdict: A poor mans Fatal Attraction.
I have to pay more to see a 3D film and don’t mind this if the special effects are done well. However this film is very disappointing. I would struggle to call it a 3D film. There was not one effect that came out the screen at you (as it does in “Fly me to the moon”.). In fact the only thing going for this film is it is beautiful to look at with some good characters. This would have been much better if it was a real-life action rather than an animated attempt. Verdict:
Night at the Museum 2
If you are looking for an adventure film that is suitable for all ages then this is the film for you! It is full of fun, action and adventure and we are already familiar with some of the characters from the first film. This time we see the museum closing down and our familiar friends going into storage. However for me the star of the show was the new baddie, Kah Mun Rah. He is funny, evil and sounds like Stewie Griffin from Family Guy. Verdict: Brilliant…I challenge anyone not to enjoy it!
